Managing Trove upgrades

We currently don't have a way of upgrading Trove instances easily.

We could use Oslo's versioned objects https://github.com/openstack/oslo.versionedobjects

[amrith] I think we already talked about this at the mid-cycle and have some next-steps. oslo version'ed objects wasn't the route though.

Should we write a file to the guest to handle when prepare is called or write to nova metadata?

Refactor guest code to allow more information into set status besides just state

Could add info about who called set status

Need to handle the guest heartbeat and restarting trove-guest

Work towards making Trove distribution agnostic so that it can run and be tested on other distros.

Currently Trove has shown to work fine with Ubuntu (in the control plane and in the guest as well). It's not the
case for other GNU/Linux distributions. Some effort has been done to change that, but it would be nice to look for
a better way to handle this.
