I am a Rackspace Private Cloud Technical Marketing Engineer with a diverse background in Production Systems Administration and Solutions Architecture.  I have over 15 years of experience across numerous industries such as Online Marketing, Financial, Insurance, Aviation, Food Industry, Education and now in the technology product space.

In the past, I was typically the requestor, consumer and advisor to companies to use technologies such as OpenStack, now promoter of OpenStack technology and Cloud educator.

With my current role, the focus is on helping customers build, design and deploy private clouds built on OpenStack by generating useful relevant content.  My role also involves Professional Services engagements around operating the built OpenStack clouds and DevOps engagements creating playbooks/roles with Ansible.

Some of my other experiences involve webinars, blogging about OpenStack and speaking at various technology conferences. I've presented at OpenStack Summits in Vancouver, Tokyo and Austin, and at AnsibleFest events in London and New York.

I was involved in the technical review of the newly-launched OpenStack Cloud Computing Cookbook, Third Edition, book. And this year saw the publication of first book titled OpenStack Administration with Ansible, which includes outlines on how to orchestrate and automate real life day-to-day OpenStack cloud administrative tasks with Ansible.
